Thanks for visiting the Mills Family Wand Company. We started creating artistic woodworking pieces a few years ago for family as gifts. It wasn't until the popularity of the wizarding films about Harry Potter did we start selling our wands generally to the public. What sets our wands apart from other wand makers is that our wands actually have real cores inside them! See our page on our cores to read more about them. Our wand maker enjoys spending time in his shop either turning or hand-carving wands and other pieces of woodworking. The first wand created by our wand maker was a Willow wand from a living spring in Western Wyoming. It is written that, "Willow wood is the very essence of magick, not just the mere making a tool into a magical one, willow makes the tool magickal." This is the wand that all other wands are made with here at the Mills Family Wand Company. A unicorn provided the core for this wand.
