Mini Math/Science - A one semester course for 8th grade students designed to give students opportunities to perform hands-on activities that teach mathematics and science. Activities include rocketry, bridge and airplane building, astronomy, and global positioning.
Pre-Algebra - A two semester course in Pre - Algebra designed to prepare students for high school algebra. Topics covered include numbers and operations, integers, basic geometry, measurement, order of operations, basic algebra, data analysis, and probability.
Algebra I - A two semester course in Introductory Algebra covering topics such as order of operations, inverse operations, expressions, equations, lines, polynomials, factoring, and algebraic applications in geometry.
Geometry - A two semester course in Geometry covering introductory topics such as points, lines, planes, axioms, postulates, theorems, polygons, and solids. The course will also cover level-appropriate topics such as perimeters, areas, volumes, surface areas, coordinate and proof geometry, and some Non-Euclidian geometry.
CP Physics - A one semester course in College Prep Physics, discussing historical advances, the laws of motion, electromagnetism, relativity, and introductory quantum theory.
Engineering Physics - A hands-on laboratory course examining conservation of energy, aviation, motion, force, and aeronautics. This course is project-oriented.
Science of Science Fiction - A course relating science fiction and their "revelations" to real science and it's future possibilities.
